We accept volunteers starting at age 14. 14 and 15-year-olds must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian while volunteering. 16 and 17-year-olds may volunteer on their own. Parents/legal guardians are required to attend Volunteer Orientation and sign waivers for all volunteers under the age of 18.
In order to be considered an active volunteer, aim to commit to volunteer for at least 8 hours within six months. Student and Court Ordered Community Service Volunteers must begin volunteering within two weeks of completing Volunteer Orientation and are required to volunteer at least twice per month for the duration of service.
